Our Nursery School Philosophy

Our nursery school has as its main goal, the satisfaction of the needs of young children and the planting of the roots of their Jewish identification.

Integrally incorporated into the school curriculum is the history, traditions, music and holidays of the Jewish people.  As a traditional Day School, we attempt to demonstrate to the children, the beauty and enriching qualities of religious observances.  We aim to imbue our children with a loyalty to Judaism and the Jewish people.
The nursery school adds to, supplements and extends the functions of the home.  Our highly competent and accredited teachers enrich and strengthen the child’s relationship with his world.
Our primary concern is to meet the needs of each child so that they may reach their optimum in growth: physically, socially, emotionally, intellectually and Judicially. 

Our program is geared to the interests and levels of the pre-school child; it includes block building, dramatic play, science, math and creative expression in all art media.  As the children get older, the program is intensified on the basis of cognitive learning in preparation for reading readiness and kindergarten/pre-1^st.
